A fun little finish

It was a very busy weekend, but even so, I managed to sit down last night with my pot of tea and watch Downton Abbey. And of course, I had my stitching with me!

I finished the little Downton Abbey freebie from The Sampler Girl. I'm planning on framing it, and then eventually charting out a few of my favorite sayings from the show, stitching them, and framing them, too. I think it would make a charming little grouping in a corner of the room that's turning into my study/stitching room. (Got a favorite Downton Abbey line? Send it to me, maybe it will become part of my wall!)

Next week I'll be starting a new piece that fits well into the Downton Abbey theme. It's also a freebie, so check back next Monday to see my new start, and for the freebie link

Until then, happy stitching!

Of course, Ann! I'm a Follower on two of your blogs! Just didn't match up with me! Love your Downton Abbey; I really like the colors you chose!

I love just about anything the Dowager Countess says! One of my favorites would be, "No Englishman would dream of dying in someone else's house."

I really do need to stitch that Downton Abbey freebie!
