Today's the first day of Advent, or what could be considered to be "New Year's Day" on the church calendar. Have you lit the first candle on your Advent wreath?I've decided to put away all stitching that doesn't have a Christmas theme to it until January 6th, as a way of keeping me focused on what we're preparing for now, and what we will be celebrating next month.
Tonight I'll be stitching a Christmas ornament, and then starting on Little House Needlework's 12 Days of Christmas. What are you stitching?

we don't do advent candles in my house, mostly because the dog would probably knock it over or try and eat it.... lol I am currently stitching Santa 10 by Lizzie Kate but hope to get that finished soon and stitch up some smaller charts to make ornys on the run up to christmas :)
